Compare that to guys like Jake the Snake or Billy Jack Haynes who’s lives are a total mess, and they are lucky to be alive. Hell, look at all the marriage, family, and financial problems Hulk and Flair have had over the last 3 years!

Her father has been married 5 times, he has many DUIs due to his alcholism, has been in jail a lot and he is violent with women.

My wife’s friend has had many engagements with men she knew only weeks, and married a guy after 5 months of knowing him. They hate each other, she cheated on him after 6 months of marriage, and she asked for a divorce 3 months before she got pregnant on purpose. She parties all of the time and has had a drinking problem for the past 5 years.

My wife tries to help her friend, but her friend says she doesn’t have any problems and will be a good mom despite her plans to continue her lifestyle after the baby is born.

All of you could be labeled as metally ill if you went into a psychiartist’s office today, there are so many illnesses every person who steps into a psychiatists office can be pinned down with a label within 10 minutes of conversation.

My story is pretty much I am a Neo-Pagan ad I believe my rights were heavily ignored when I made a visit to the hospital for issues of abuse. ( my father had sexually abused me and I wanted to deal with it ) well, the psychiatrist pretty much told me outright that I was had a thought disorder and it never happened. Isn’t this outrageous?

They went through the standard questions, and asked if I believe in psychic powers, I replied with no, but I do believe everyone has a certain intuition or sixth sense.

They asked me if I believe I can display telepathy, again my answer was no, but I did explain I believe when two people get close enough to eachother they can pick up on eachothers thoughts, such as twins do.

So naturally they wrote down that I believe I am psychic and that I believe I can send telepathic thoughts.

I was committed, and still am to this day, and am being forced to take anti-psychotics.

There are many a book out there on how to increase your psychic development.
And there are plenty of studies on the possibility of telepathy.

I told them I was interested in parapsychology and ghost hunting as well.

And they wrote down the patient believes she has a “ghost recorder”, yes, I was trying to capture EVP’s and had caught some really good ones. These people do not watch ghost adventures I’m geussing.

This is about the life we all choose, to follow everyday

I have been crying lately, getting false promises like a better future or the finale divorce from my wife.

Everything tasted like bullets and blood.

I was promised that I didn’t have cancer, and yet tomorrow I go under Chemo.

They’ll come up to me and say “Everything will be better tomorrow.”

That’s what they said yesterday.

I was promised a son who would go to college, get married, have kids, and now he buried 6 feet under dirt and worms.

Slipping quietly out of the door, Kelly O’Byrne immediately felt the cool breeze on her face. I have 3 reports one from social services, one form the court custody evaluator, and one from the court-ordered child psychiatrist all saying that I did not abuse my kids, and that my wife was coaching them to make false charges. I never abused anyone, but since the kids said that I did abuse them, and their mom says that I did, I’m afraid that I’m going to lose my custody and visitation anyway. When Social services interviewed the children, they didn’t even ask the children and specifics about the abuse, or even when it was supposed to occur, and the report indicates that they were just asked a series of yes or no questions like “Did your dad do this? Did he do that?” and given the oppertunity to make whatever charges they cared to against me without even being questioned at all on the specifics of the charges. So I don’t even know, except for some vague accusations, what I am being accused of. At the first hearing, the kids weren’t even required to be there to make their accusations in person. When i went to court last June, my lawyer tried to tell the judge that the abuse charges were fabricated, that there was no finding of abuse in the prior hearing. He cut her off and growled “the court order speaks for istelf!!” and when she said that the kids had been coerced into making false claims of abuse he said “they are old enough to make their own determinations.” When my lawyer said that my wife is mentally ill, the judge asked her if she was being treated, and when she said she was, he simply said “well there you have it, she is being treated.” When my lawyer pointed out that she was a heroin addict and abandoned her chilren twice and had comitted of various crimes, including lying to a police officer and domestic violence 10 years ago, He said: “When did this occur? So is there anything more recent?” and blew it off.

My lawyer keeps suggesting that I settle for 2 weekends a month, just to avoid getting supervised visitation. But, my wife has done all of this. She even continues to harass, extort, and threaten me, to break into my car and house, and tries to entrapp me into violating the court order, and even braggs to me that she has a bunch of people that will lie for her. I never did anything wrong. It hurts enough that my kids went along with it. I don’t want to lose my weekends with the kids. I was their single parent for 6 years and their mom never cam to see them during those 6 years, and was on heroin. I am so shocked by the unfairness of this system.

Custody battle pretty much went as follows: She cheated on him with the baby in the room (and the court really didn’t seem to care much about that) and she got custody since the baby was so small. The next time, she admits to drug use because of her current felon-convicted boyfriend and loses her child who stay with her dad. Next, dad’s wife lies about dad in court and gets her taken away again, before the charge was dismissed completely by the court, but he still lost her and didn’t have enough money to go back for a fourth time.

He is working on getting enough money, and we’re actually planning to get married soon (I’m not pregnant, and it’s not JUST to take the child from her mom, we’re doing it the right way).

We went to take the little girl on an afternoon to his parents house where she had fun playing with her cousin. When we took her back at 9pm as promised. My recording caught the following:

First of all, you can clearly hear a roudy house full of other kids (about 3) and the mom of this child yelling at them, and actually cursing.

My boyfriend saying to his daughter, “Here, let me get your coat off, ok”.. and the felon-convicted boyfriend of mother saying “No keep your coat on, we’re about to leave.”
My boyfriend: “It’s already 9, isn’t it a little late for her to be out?”
Mother: “___, don’t even start that”
Felon: “It’s Friday night, no school tomorrow, we stay out as late as we want!” (Clearly intoxicated, and they had another adult that was intoxicated with them)

The papers clearly state visitation, and he asks her if it’s ok if he has the visitation which is stated in the papers for Christmas. He also mentions since he was denied his visitation from her for Christmas because she refused to let him take her. When he asks her about the dates she says: “Well I don’t know, I’ll have to get with my lawyer on that”, He mentions not being allowed to see her, and the felon says in the background yelling “and who’s fault was that?” And he says the mother’s name. The felon continues to say “You’re not even a daddy, she calls me daddy not you.”

The mother goes on to say that “___(child) has an ***hole for a daddy”. And the felon chimes in agreeing.

My boyfriend goes on to just say, “well I guess I’ll just have my lawyer contact your lawyer to get everything straightened out ok? Cause it says it clearly in your copy and my copy of the papers”, and she says to him, “___(his name), I’m not dealing with your s*** get the F*** outta my house”.. all this time you hear all the kids playing in the background and her daughter saying “mama, look…” and things like that, the whole time.

I stopped recording as soon as we started to leave because I figured that was it. And I left the door and turned around cause I heard her cry and say “daddy wait” and i tried to tell her bye, or even find her in the trash in that trailor and all the sudden I see the felon-convict lunge at the door which was then was slammed in my face so hard it made the wreath on the door almost fall off and the whole house shook. My boyfriend was also recording and this was caught this.

Next thing you hear in my recording is the mom yelling at the top of her lungs (obviously right in my face) saying “Oooooh, you’re recording? That’s just great, you know why!??!?” you can hear the daughter wimpering in the background, saying daddy, and she tells her drunk friend to get the kids back inside for a minute. She then proceeds to yell at the top of her lungs in my face about how I should get in her face about anything. I said, “but I didn’t get in your face”.

I remembered that she’d let the little girl watch freddy cruger the last time we were there and asked her on recording why she let her daughter, a 3 year old watch it, and she said “OH MY F**** GAW! Are you F**** serious, Dude?” And I just said “she’s three years old, why, she’s just three years old?” And she said “well! Cause she likes it!”

She then proceeded to say, “Well what about all this hickie s** on your neck” (pointing to a mark that wasn’t even there”. I didn’t say anything, but asked her about how she slept with another guy, cheating on the baby’s father, when her daughter was 2 months with the daughter in the room. And she said, “ARE YOU F*** SERIOUS, DUDE? SERIOUSLY?” I said “why” and she said “She wasn’t even there when we did it, she was at her F***** Grandma’s Ok?”

The entire time, both me and my boyfriend had calm voice tones, as we always do with them, and they were beligerant and screaming and cussing at both us and the situation.

That’s when I turned the recording off and just left. We called the cops and made a report about the situation and the cops went to that house, and w
we just went home.

I know no one here can make a 100% correct prediction. But we won’t see the DHS until Monday morning. And even then we’re just worried that she’ll get awaywith everything just cause she’s the mom. We both have good jobs, and can support her easily, and her mom and boyfriend work on minimum wage part time constantly having to move because they are always evicted and can’t find a place to stay.

I stayed up with him last night and he and I cried all night long. We’re just sick. And this was the worst thing I’ve ever whitnessed and he says it happens all the time. I don’t know whether to just keep recording if that will do me any good or if you think that it will make headway.

Please don’t flag this just because it’s long. I’m sorry, We’re just so upset about everything I just need some kind of opinion. I love her like she was my own flesh and blood, it seems like I love her more than her own mom does.

Mind you, I didn’t start a fight with her, she attacked me as I was being as sweet as I could. I’ve done nothing but be completely nice to her, and she’s actually had her friends call and harrass me and my boyfriend in texts and calls.

Somehow Pung achieves a tone both lush and raw. For a book so preoccupied with fraught emotions — both exposed and hidden, and including Pung’s own crises — Unpolished Gem possesses the steadiest of heartbeats.

Her descriptions of Melbourne life, of her mother the outworking jewellery-maker, her father the Retravision franchisee, the birth of her three siblings, the death of her beloved grandmother, her double life of home and school, are interspersed with tales, brief but not perfunctory, of her elders’ pre-Australian lives.

“We are trying to assimilate, to not stand out from the neighbours, to not bring shame to our whole race by carrying over certain habits from the old country, such as growing chickens in the backyard or keeping goats as pets.”

In the portrait of her mother, Pung reveals the complexity of assimilation (and the term’s revelatory inadequacies). Although strong-willed, opinionated, intelligent and astonishingly hardworking, “She was loud because she could not read or speak the secret talk we knew.

“She could not read because she had been housebound for two decades. And now, over the dinner table, she would watch as my father and his children littered their language with English terms, until every second word was in a foreign tongue”. Her emergence from depression and isolation as a salesperson at Retravision is a triumph of persistence and courage. The whole episode is recounted by Pung with an assured mix of bluntness, sensitivity and humour.

Storytelling is at the heart of Unpolished Gem but this, too, exposes tensions. Pung’s grandmother and mother frequently clashed. Both employed four-year-old Alice as ally and spy, leading her to “discover that being good means just being good to the person who is telling you to be good”. Her account of this childhood predicament is unsettling, especially when her mother angrily questions her loyalties. But her conclusion is compelling:

I was doomed, early on, to be a word-spreader. To tell these stories that the women of my family made me promise never to tell a soul. Perhaps they told me because they really did want the other camp to hear. Or perhaps my word-spreading is also the only way to see that there was once flesh attached to these bones, that there was once something living and breathing, something that inhaled and exhaled; something that slept and woke up every morning with the past effaced, if only for a moment. That was a good beginning, and in this good beginning the stories would come like slow trickles of truth, like blood coursing through the veins.

Pung’s portrait of her grandmother, herself a “magical” storyteller, reveals only snippets of an extraordinary life: a committed communist, she left China for Cambodia under a political cloud; she once tried to swap her baby son for a girl; her first two daughters died in Phnom Penh, from illness and accident; she was the second wife of a man who stole their fifth son for his first wife; she had healing powers; she survived the Pol Pot years. While Pung weaves these stories seamlessly into her narrative I wanted more — a whole other book — about her grandmother.

Cambodia remains distant in Pung’s narrative: for her it is a foreign country. Pol Pot, too, hovers like a shadow. Pung’s focus is elsewhere, and the story would be burdened by descriptions of killing fields and refugee camps.

And there are many ways to write about the consequences of war and crimes against humanity. Still, one time, at a family gathering at a restaurant, Alice’s father said:

I sat alone under the twisted tree, I was waiting, hunger thrived through my body licked my lips it wouldn’t be long now, I could feel him coming. “Katie, I er… got your call” I heard him say from behind me, I turned around, Dave stood there gawking at me, I smiled human men were sooo… easy “what took you so long I called you 10 minutes ago.” I said to him in my usual exquisite voice. “I’m sorry” he whispered dropping to his knees and crawling next to me his eyes fixate on my body, I smiled again it never hurt to show my legs and turned away for him, he moved closer to me, “So, why did you call me?” he whispered in my ear, his breath tickled the back of my neck I sighed, “I’m hungry Dave.” His heart skipped a beat he began to pant, “Do you want me to…to let you drink again?” He wrapped his hands around my hips, “I think we both know the answer to that” I turned to face he, I was so close, close to his neck “the question is you going to let me?” I looked into his green eyes he had the same colour as my fathers; I had to do it, “would it be the same as last time?” I leant closer to him, I nodded. I saw him hesitate “are you thinking about you wife?” I placed my mouth next to his neck, he moaned “my wife? Never, not when I’m with you” I breathed my last words on him, “good, because I wanted the last thing you to ever think about to be me” He closed his eyes and moaned, “Katie” I bit into his slender neck lush seem to wash over me I ran my fingers through his soft hair. I felt his body weaken “Katie…” he whimpered then slumped unconscious into my arms I pulled my teeth out of his neck slowly, and ran my tongue over my teeth and on to his neck to lick up and driblets I missed. Dropping him on the dirty floor I stood up wiped the earth off my dress and watched his final heart beat die away, before turning and walking back down the way I came. I smiled I guess life really is a heartless bitch.

In the midst of a land in which nobody with a simple imagination could conceive, there was a city…
The dusk sky was painted with vivid shades of orange and lavender, preparing for the dark night that was to come. A meager sliver of a moon hung with a pale glow and the beginnings of stars softly decorated the sky. Around the sunset, dense clouds threatened the coming of a rain storm.
An ancient castle surrounded by many people rested beneath the rapidly changing sky. The castle was bordered by lush vegetation, still brightly visible in the dimming sunlight. Flowers of all different hues encased the walk ways and lined the shops and homes of the people who lived there. Behind the castle was a think forest which nobody dared to enter.
At the peek of the castle was the Rose, the most beautiful sight in all the city. It’s petals were stained a deep blood-red as the leaves were a lush, inviting green. Jagged thorns engulfed the Rose, warning all people to stay away, yet it possessed a certain enchantment that beckoned you to come closer.
All eyes attentively gazed upon the only balcony on the castle. It’s dull, simple rock pigment didn’t stand out in the least, but what was on top of the balcony was what they were dedicating their attention to, an aging man and his wife next to a pillar that was crowned with a large, emerald basin. In the arms of the man was a newborn child wrapped in a soft, jade-colored blanket.
“We have a new member to our community,” bellowed the man in a deep, raspy voice that quieted the large crowd, “the child is yet to be named, but, all the same, we will begin the Sprouting Ceremony.”
The crowd cheered at such news of a new person coming into their world.
But behind the mass of people lurked the malevolent shadow of one who was not intrigued by the man’s words. His dark face revealed almost nothing of his appearance, apart from his eyes. They were almost ebony, shining with a glazed look as if they were made of black diamond. He proudly held a gold scepter incrusted with onyx-like gems. His eyes shot a piercing glare at the old man as he spoke, but he gave an even more fierce stare to the delicate child in his arms. He sensed courage, power, and importance in the tiny child. These were the things that he feared the most in beings other than himself.
The dark man whipped his head around looking toward the forest behind him. In the opening of the forest stood a stout woman who was sullenly gazing at the child. Her hair frizzed from the moisture and her simple clothes blew in the soft winds, but her face was calm. She seemed to be thinking about this child more than the others that were brought up to the castle’s balcony. Perhaps thinking of the child’s future.
“She’s waiting for the Chosen Petal to fall, as always,” thought the sinister man, to himself with a smirk.
“Now that the child has been welcomed, we shall discover the newborn’s future position in our community,” the old man declared with utter confidence. The elderly man, with the woman by his side, raised the small child up above his head. The emerald basin instantaneously released a mystical, sparkling light into the darkening sky. The infant suddenly uncurled from it’s coiled position. It’s eyes flashed open staring at the white light as if waiting for something to happen.
At that moment, the male who stood at the back of the crowd lifted up his scepter and aimed it at the child. He muttered a peculiar incantation and the scepter glimmered like the sea on a clear day. A strange form of energy emitted from the scepter falling on the child within seconds. As expected, the child was not physically harmed in any state and the ceremony continued as if nothing happened, for nobody had noticed the odd occurrence . But the dark man knew that happened.
The strange feeling of power that had radiated from the child before had vanished. The mysterious force was now enclosed in the shadowy scepter, but it slowly crept out as the seconds passed by, returning to the open air. He smirked at his accomplishment and continued to watch the ceremony.
The water inside the basin trembled and the old man peered into it, concentrating on what he saw as he lowered the child, giving the infant to the elderly woman by his side. Instantly, the child pulled its tiny fists back towards its chest and its eyes closed shut looking as if they would never open again.
“The child will be…a Flower Keeper!” cried the man.
The crowd once again cheered for the new member of their community and the lucky position the child received as future Flower Keeper.
The malicious man smiled once again at this news, as a rumble of thunder erupted from the clouds. He turned around to see the bewildered expression of the woman behind him. She shook her head with perplexity, her heather grey eyes holding a mystified expression. Another boom of thunder tolled as rain

Her gentle eyes suddenly became harsh and unforgiving as she saw the dark man staring at her with satisfaction as if he had won a never ending battle. She gave him a final, warning glare and then solemnly staggered back into the forest.
The crowd soon began to clear away. Among them was the parents of the newborn, pleased with the future job of their child. As the boisterous activity settled down, not a soul was near the castle. Everyone had already begun to return to their busy lives. The moment serenity fell over the castle, a single crimson petal from the Rose gracefully fell in to the emerald pool, floating with complete solitude, raindrops gently engulfing its beauty .

So, the questions are: How many people have to be killed, for it to become a spree? Do they have to be killed in different places? What if the guy just poisons them? That’s not a particularly active or lively crime. What if the guy dances around and hacks up only one person? Wouldn’t that be a spree? That sounds like a pretty active crime to me. I guess the media would just call that a grisly murder. Do you think the media overuses the term killing spree, because it implies the killer is crazed and having a good time, wildly killing random people and that tends to grab our attention? Your thoughts?

His second wife got him off drugs. He has been clean for at least 10 years (he is in his early 50s and I am in my 40s). Well, he was divorcing his ex-wife when I met him. He didn’t tell me why they divorced, only that she was “crazy”. Someone I know who knew her told me he drove her crazy by the way he treated her.

I have been with him over a year. He treats me like a princess, but sometimes gets mad at me in public — nothing major. I don’t think he would hit me. He says I have motivated him to be a better person — that I am such a kind, gentle person, he wants to be the same way.

I love him and I do not want to lose him.

Starts off with title saying Weed VS Alcohol

A – It shows a husband coming home drunk and beating the wife for not having food ready and the kids looking on in horror.
W – It shows a husband coming home high with a bag of take-out food for the whole family and the children hug the dad for bringing home food.

A- It shows a drunk man being insulted and beating the shit out of the offender
W- It shows a stoner man being insulted and the stoner responding by saying “chill out dude”

A- It shows a man binge drinking and the friends having to take him to the ER for over doing it
W- It show a man taking a monster rip and showing the men just chilling watching TV afterwards.

A- It shows a alcoholic being told by the doctor he needs a new liver
W- It shows a man being prescribed medical marijuana by his doctor.

Please add to the idea or recommend changes. I think it would be persuasive if this was made into a commercial.

I am just wondering why someone would do something like that? Personally, I wouldn’t talk about my marriage at work—no matter how many problems I was having. He is still her husband and she is betraying their marital trust by involving outsiders, instead of a meeting up with a marriage therapist! I am not defending him or her in this instance. I personally think that her husband is still acting out on his bachelor days gone by and is obviously NOT attracted to her sexually anymore. Why would he rather watch amateur college girls and not have sex with his own wife? I personally think he is probably two seconds away from cheating on her—if he already hasn’t done so. As for her, she really needs to seek therapy herself or get out of the marriage. Bring up their problems at work is really showing a lack of respect towards herself and their (obviously shaky) marriage. I just really feel bad for their 3 children.

I am just really tired of hearing her talk about this and can’t really vent too many people. Don’t be afraid to leave some honest feedback on this subject. Thanks!
