The question isnt should i leave him…because I know that is an option. I have tried. it has not yet come to that, so my question is more for the meth user. or someone who has recovered from this…what are the chances od a recovery? My boyfriend is divorced from his ex wife has 4 beautiful children. This man is very spiritual believes in God, he has the intentions to stop using but struggles and uses. when he uses he binges leaving for weeks and lately months at a time straying from me his now girlfriend. I do love him dearly and wish for him to be well. He is such a great man when he stays away from meth. I know i can leave him. but should i? this man is my best friend. should i just give up on someone even tho they want to get out of this addiction…he has no more family support, just me. he has no job no food to eat. he does still have a roof over his head and a car FOR NOW…but my questions are where does one like this go for help, if he is willing…what does rehab do? or is it just a waste of money. i realize that he needs to help himself but what are the steps I should take if i choose to help him…i know standing back and letting him fall is an option. but is there possible another way…?

So i called the police after I had posted this I still didn’t know what to do at the time… I called my mom to pick up my son I didnt want him to be there going thru this watching etc…So Two officers came down and so I spoke to them, The wife is still asleep doesnt have a clue wats going on… The officers clearly break it down and tell me what is it that you want us to do… and well with what they said I really could not afford her going in cuz then I would stack bills on my shoulder that I really dont need… So they told to really speak to her and take her to rehab and get her a detox and all that stuff… and try to save my family instead of having to go to court spending a **** load of money and having to testify against my wife and taking full custody of my son… I know it really sucks for me right now cuz I dont have that kind of money to pay for an attorney and so forth… I really love my family and idk what to do??? some couples are lucky and dont have to go thru this…

k so after the cops left I felt a little better no they didnt take her cuz I said no and yes I apologized for their waste of time and they it was fine as long as they helped me… When she wakes up finally I told her whats up with you? she goes nothing? so it took about 3 questions until she said yes I did do it last night(tweek)well ne way I told her I wasnt going to put up with it and i was taking my son with my so she cried and begged me for hours.. for me not to leave, she promised apologized she swore and put it on my son that she would not ever come in contact with it again but she didnt regret doing it cuz that didnt come out of her mouth.. but basically everything else.. I told her you know what you should of thought of this before you did it you are an adult a mom and a wife you should act like one im a man and i know wat is expected from me and dont need to be doing stupid **** and lose my family… So she cried and begged some more and swore and all that stuff.. & guess wat?
Im still here… I feel like im taking care of another child, Always watching her, Always around etc…
Why??? I love my family.. But why does somebody (partner) have to kill it for the husband(in my case) and son??? I dont understand???

Please dont judge just help me I am with this man I have been with him a lil over a year, things were bad from the start a lil while into it i foung out he was married and I decided to stay anyway he told me he was getting a divorce bla bla bla still no divorce and come to find out he still talks his WIFE! I was fed lies and totaly deceitful this man lies to me straight face. I know FACTS about a few things and nothing is changeing. I am the only one who works and I support him and his habbit now I had suspicions about his habbit little bags and what not now i found a pipe a meth pipe, he denies any use yet i know for a fact! I am crazy I know I dont know what to do! I think he is a binge user I still cant believe I am allowing all this to happen to me, now the abuse he hits me not all the time but it happens he has done some pretty bad things to me, I never saw a man so eager to hurt me physicaly. He dosent work he dosent do NOTHING! I dont know how to ket go! I do care and love him! Why am I so stupid!?? Please tell me I need help i know i want counsling i lost me and my self worth why am i so weak?? HELP ME anyone I dont know what I need. This man cant possibly love me the things he does and says to, but at times he is the perfect man I dont know the difference any more between him being high i think he is nice when he high and mean when he is not so this means he only loves me when he is high! I totaly hate myself I am ruining my life i know i should leave its not so easy easier said than done.

my grandson is 21 years old and a 6 year meth user. We put him in one treatment center for 30 days and he came out great and a different person and stayed clean a week. He went to another treatment center for 3 months and came out great etc. clean 2 weeks. Went to another treatment center for 9 months and came home the sweetest kid you could ever hope for. Clean 3 weeks, It is split his parents home up, he has stolen everything that could be carried out even the family dog ( they did buy it back). He has nearly bankrupt my son and his wife and they are now split up after 23 years of marriage. He has no job as who will hire a druggie? If you can think of anything that we have not done please let us know. We have e mailed Dr. Phil and no response. We have e mailed Oprah, no response. Help

We think she may be using Meth, but she isnt exibiting any of the signs. We did how ever find some little baggys that we think may be Meth. I,m divorcing him as many of you may already know because of his meth addiction,and although it not been easy I have stood my ground bcause of many atemps and broken promisis about getting off the dope and lying and all the other crap thats not good in our relationship.anyway hes been thretning to kill me almost constanly because I wont stop the divorce and let him live with me ,hes been (restraining )me from leaving the house when been bullying and badering me takes my keys and phone and makes me stay in the house ,he has a real fear of abandament because thats what keeps happening to him .yesterday morning he was suppose to go to work first time in two weeks when we woke he started in again again and asked the same question over again, why wont I give him A chance ,well its because I remember how many theres already been and things were just getting worse and Iso I told him that I CAN NOT AND WILL NOT STOP DIVORCE , He got up and came over and CHOKED me and told i need to Die
I was able to lie my way out of house hours later and called police now hes in jail and may be (stong chance)going to prison on 3 felony charges and is begging me to drop felony charges other people who know and Love him tell me to let it happen and I just dont Know what is best way

My wife is a meth addict I left her and took our sons because she is was using and would not even admit to having a problem. I have found her pipes and other evidence of the drug use. So after I left she said she was clean and doing well so I let her start taking the boys again, Well she comes to drop off our sons and we get into an argument and I tell her to leave. As she is leaving she threatens to burn my house down and I lock myself and our sons in the house and call the police and she starts to hit and kick my doors and windows. The police come and said she didn’t commit a crime. I know I don’t and won’t return the kids into her care but is it enough for a restraining order in California.

4 months ago my wife started doing meth and begged her to stop and tried to work with her and got angry and cried and asked her to get help and did every thing i could for 6 weeks. then i left her. I saw her yesterday and she has lost at least 60 lbs and her face was sunken in and she had sores all over. she looks like she is half dead. we had a short conversation and i asked her if she was happy and she said that she didn’t know any more. Im not sure what that means. I really do care for her and I know our marriage is over and will never be again. but I still love her and i am worried she will kill herself with the drugs. I just woke up and started thinking about it now I cant sleep but I have to work in 2 hrs anyway. I don’t know if this is a question or not but I just felt the need to tell someone how i am feeling because since i left her I have no one to talk to any more. she was my best friend and my lover and now she is killing herself and it tears me apart. thanks for reading and if you have any incite please drop me a line.
