Stages Of Surrogate Program India

Following are the various stages of Surrogacy Program in India

Step 1 : Review Of General Information

This Website contains all of our general information. Please review this information and call the We Care office or e-mail us if you have any questions (info@wecareindia.com). Additionally, you may wish to e-tour the medical facilities you are considering and/or tele meet the physicians, embryologists, and/or staff members. ..

Step 2 : Sign Up

Once you decide to proceed with our program, you will need to send in your completed Intended Parent’s inquiry form with the detailed query and medical status of the intended parents…

Step 3 : Surrogate Review

Most clients have an idea about what they consider to be desirable traits in a surrogate. We Care will discuss your “wish list” with you and send surrogate profiles for your review….

Step 4 : Surrogate Interview

Once you have selected a potential surrogate, we will share some of the information in your autobiographical sketch with her. If she is interested in working with you, you will have the opportunity to speak over the phone in an anonymous conference call organized through We Care. ..

Step 5 : Surrogate Contract

A surrogacy agreement will be sent to you for your input. We Care will help you contemplate some of the issues that need to be detailed such as amniocentesis, abortion, multiple birth payments, lost wage and child-care reimbursement, and insurance coverage…

Step 6 : Psychological Testing

All surrogates must undergo psychological testing with a licensed psychologist. We Care will organize this appointment and will receive a written report regarding the surrogate’s suitability. The results will be shared with you. You are also welcome to request IQ testing, drug and nicotine screening, or chromosomal analysis, at your additional expense…

Step 7: Medical Testing

All parties involved in the conception of the child are required to undergo medical testing. If the couple is providing their embryo, the husband, wife, and surrogate must be tested. If the husband is providing his semen sample for artificial insemination of a surrogate, only he and the surrogate require testing….

Step 8: Fertility Treatment

We Care will assist in organizing all medical fertility treatment by coordinating the medication protocols from the doctor in charge. Medications and their instructions will be sent directly to the surrogate. We Care will organize airfare, travel arrangements, accommodations, and schedules for medical treatments…

Step 9: Egg Retrieval/Implantation

Transvaginal egg retrieval is now accepted as the preferred and safest procedure for egg collection. This will be done by the doctor with embryologists, anesthetists and ultrasonographers assisting…

Step 10 : Pregnancy

We Care will arrange the BETA HCG pregnancy test approximately 12 – 14 days after implantation was to have occurred. We always hope for a positive test result, and we certainly celebrate when that happens! An ultrasound will be done to detect a fetal heartbeat several weeks later…

Step 11 : Legal Arrangements And Birth

We Care has formed excellent working relationships with various lawyers who are familiar with surrogacy laws. A draft of the legally binding agreement will be shared with you for approval. This will help you to understand the legal atmosphere in your surrogate’s country, India…

Step 12 : Baby Goes Home!!

It is your turn to take over. We Care has finished our work, but we always look forward to hearing about your baby in any way you would like to share with us! Pictures are always enjoyed! We wish you heart-felt good wishes for the years to come and look forward to working with you again if baby #2 is in the picture!…

Until now, getting infertility treatment of any kind in USA was too costly for most people. Today the world’s getting smaller and travel is easier. You have options. Have you heard the latest? People are flying to India and getting their treatment done. Not only do you get your treatment for a fraction of the cost, but you get to travel to exotic India too. For last few years India has been depicting its proficiency in medical treatment packages. The major USP of medical tourism India is its cut-throat price of the treatment packages.

What is IUI (Intrauterine insemination)?

Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is the process of preparing a sperm specimen to concentrate it for the most active motile sperm and placing the washed sperm into the uterus as close as possible to the tubal opening. Intrauterine insemination is often recommended because studies have shown that pregnancy is more likely to occur if timing of exposure to sperm is controlled, and if sperm is placed in higher numbers closer to the egg or eggs.

Who might benefit from insemination?

There are selected groups of patients to whom sperm donation is recommended.

·Men who are unable to ejaculate inside their wife’s vagina for whatever reasons. This is the classical indication. Causes for ejaculation failure include diabetes, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury and retrograde ejaculation, where sperm are released backward into the bladder instead of urethra. Retrograde ejaculation may be due to diabetes, trauma or operation in the bladder neck or a side effect of certain drugs.

·Men with mildly low sperm count, poor quality sperm or antisperm antibodies.

·Men who wish to freeze their sperm for possible future use before vasectomy, chemotherapy or radiotherapy for cancer.

·Women with mild endometriosis.

·Women with cervical mucus hostility or poor cervical mucus.

·Couples with unexplained infertility.

·Some infertility clinics may offer intrauterine insemination of a HIV negative woman with washed and prepared sperm of her HIV positive husband/partner.

When is the best timing for an IUI?

Ideally an IUI should be performed within 6 hours either side of ovulation — for male factor infertility some doctors believe after ovulation is better, otherwise chances of success are higher with insemination before ovulation with the sperm waiting for the egg. When timing is based on an HCG injection, the IUIs are usually done between 24 and 48 hours later. Typical timing would be to have a single IUI at about 36 hours post-hCG, though some do it at 24 hours, and some clinics are reporting better results when doing the IUI at 40-42 hours post-hCG. If two IUIs are scheduled, they are usually spaced at least 12 hours apart between 24 and 48 hours after the hCG. Some reports show no increase in success rates with two IUIs, but others suggest it may increase success as much as 6 percent. Some doctors will base timing of IUI on a natural LH surge. In that case, a single IUI at 36 hours is the norm, but doing them at 24 hours is also pretty common since ovulation may be a bit earlier. When two inseminations are planned, they are usually timed between 12 and 48 hours after the surge is detected. The egg is only viable for a maximum of 24 hours after it is released.

The process of intrauterine insemination:

Insemination is normally carried out when one is nearing the ovulation cycle. Medication is used to stimulate a woman to produce multiple eggs. While the semen is procured from the male who has brought a specimen from home or is made to masturbate in the clinic. The semen has to be produced after 2-5 days of abstaining from ejaculation.

Next the washing of the semen is carried out. Here the sperm is separated from the other fluids and kept as a concentrated component. Sperm washing takes fifteen minutes to an hour depending on the case and the technique used by the clinic.

Now with one component ready, a soft catheter is used to insert the sperm in the cervix of the woman or in the uterine cavity. The woman is required to lie down during this process although the position is not proved to better pregnancy.

With the onset of ovulation, intrauterine insemination has to be conducted within 6 hours. If the male is known to be infertile IUI after ovulation is thought to be purposeful. If it is based on the hCG injection then IUI is done 24 to 48 hours later. Sometimes two IUI can also be conducted. In this case there has to be a break of 12 hours between the first and the second.

What is the success rate of IUI treatment?

The success rate of IUI depends upon several factors. First of all the cause of the infertility problem is important. For example, men with normal sperm counts who are unable to have intercourse have a much higher chance of success than patients who are undergoing IUI for poor sperm counts. In addition, female factors play an important role. If the female is more than 35, the chance of a successful pregnancy is significantly decreased. Generally, the chance of conceiving in one cycle is about 10-15%; and the cumulative conception rate is about 50% over 4 treatment cycles. (Remember, Nature’s efficiency for producing a baby in one month is about 15 to 25 %). However, if IUI is going to work for a couple, it usually does so within 4 treatment cycles. If a pregnancy has not resulted by this time, the chances of IUI working for you are very remote. You have reached the point of diminishing returns, and should stop persisting with IUI and explore the option of IVF.

IUI (Intrauterine insemination) treatment in India:

India has a talent pool of qualified doctors, a lot of whom have been trained in the US and UK, in specialized areas of infertility treatment. With the recent development of the healthcare infrastructure in India, the best of facilities and equipment are also available with these doctors. This coupled with the extremely low cost of the treatments makes India the ideal destination for your infertility treatment needs.
