after 6 months of seperation, and my ex wifes impending re-marriage i am finally succeeding in letting it go. the problem is she keeps dropping small hints all the time,especially body language. on fathers day she dropped off my kids found me in the basement and basically undressed me with her eyes. For a second i thought she wanted a hug, but i backed away. She constantly is asking my older child how im doing amd must be questioning them about me cause she seems to know everything i do,EVERYTHING. There are so many issues involved with her from being extremely impulsive,former drug abuse,and breaking up with me and coming back like 4 times over 25 years.She claims she is happy,claims she wants me to be happy,but 2 weeks ago i confronted her about if she really was sure of her marriage and she said she couldnt answer, then last week she said she was sure, but asked me for my true feelings for her.After i told her i still loved her, she said she didnt and never thinks of me or us. ???

He did tell me about her when we got together. He told me they were in an unhealthy relationship. He was 19 and she was 51. He was a crack head and she supported and enabled him for 20 years. He got sober 3 1/2 years ago and broke off the relationship.
When I asked him in the beginning had he ever been married, he said no. He claims now, he lied about the marriage because he was ashamed of the life he had, that he never loved her only used her to support his drug habit.He says he was embarssed to admit the short marriage of 5 or 7 years. He denies he meets with her. He says they are divorcd now. He says she called me to hurt him and try to break us up.She constantly calls leaving messages begging him to come back to her.He didn’t tell me because he didn’t want to concern me. He says he never responds.
We are not youngsters he is 40 and I am 55. He is the most loving, considerate and thoughful man I have ever been with.We have been togeher 5 months, daily. He has introduced me to his family, he is now back in their good graces. He would be my 4th husband. I am not rich, but do have more resources than he. He says he will always be there for me. I try to talk about the age difference and does he realize I will lose my beauty and could need care. He still insist his love for me is forever. Since there are no guarantees in life, I just want to live for today and hope he is sincere. I love him dearly and would be so unhappy without him. Just like her. I feel sorry for her. I want to believe in him, should I?

I just got a call from my wife. Apparently my mother has called her and left a voice mail for her that says she “wants to talk”.

Certainly there is strife in my family, and my wife does not get along with my mother nor my sister, and in NO uncertain terms, I made it clear to my mother and my sister that I will not be involved with them since they seem to cause my wife so much heartache.

So, let me add something to this: My mom is a drug addict, she’s a filthy excuse for a mother, a wife and a lady and I would NOT put it past her to tell my wife a lie. My wife suffers from childlike narcissism and will always feel like a victim.

He’s not a bad person although he’s in jail for having drug’s in his car at a traffic stop, however he comes from a good loving family and he realized that he’s made past mistakes and while he’s been in jail he’s learned a trade to better himself. I have a problem sometimes with getting upset easy and mood swings so i went to the doctor and they prescribed me lexapro. My wife went with me and was not happy with the doctor because she wanted them to put me on the highest dose of zoloft but the doctor suggested to try only a very small does of the other type first. My wife is very controlling and i fill she wants me all drugged up so she can controll me with no resistance. She did not seem happy after i went and did not even thank me. My wife did this before years ago to try to get me on meds so i would be easy to deal with so i did go on zoloft but than found out she was having and affair with another man. My wife seems to finds things to get between us to keep us distant. I think she may be doing this again. She took the day off work today but did not tell me , i came home early and asked her why she did not tell me she was taking the day off. she go upset. She still turns off the computer screen when i walk in on her. any help?

After 15 years of marriage, she has gone off the wall and seems to be not living in reality. She wants to move out away from me and our two sons and live on her own. my situation is unbearable. wife’s family is horrible. always creating drama. her younger brother is crazy and a drug addict and her mother is controlling. I caught my bf in a hotel with another chick. He swares he never slept with her and the worst thing is i believe him. He was out with his mates off his face when it happened – i only found out cos the idiot used my creditcard to pay for the room.

We’ve been together for 4yrs, im 25 and he’s 31. We’ve just bought a house together and we have 2 dogs and 2 cats that make up our little family. I love my life with him and dont wont to loose it. I am also not from the state that we live at the moment, im orginally from the otherside of the country where all my friends and family are. I only have his family here, if i were to leave him i’d be leaving to go home.

Another thing is he works away on the oil rigs and the standard male or typical relationship consists of a lying cheating pig who constantly cheats with whores while away from this wife/girlfriend, drugs and alcohol are usually involved this this type. There are select few that are decent and i was under the impression that he was one of them.

So i have all these factors running around in my head but i dont want them to define my decision about our relationship. Yet on the other hand i cant ignore them either.

I dont no if this is the begining of worse things to come or if it was in fact a once off slip.

This isnt some silly girl relationship drama. The decision i make will define my life. We’ve talked about marriage and kids before this happened so if i stay it would continue that way but if i leave i have to go home and start all over again.

When i mentioned the marriage and kids part, i should have noted he had talked about, which then made me to believe the relationship was turning a lot more serious. I’m not the motherly, house wife type – i dont like kids. I dont long to not work, I dont work so its the other way around, i long to work. Bouncing back isnt a problem, its the easy part.

My husband’s ex-wife is a narcisstic sociopath.
Her favorite drug of choice is court. In the 4 years I have known him, she has filed 62 motions, complaints, and warrants against him in 5 different counties. She Judge shops, much like a pill addict pharmacy shops.
Sometimes she loses, most of the time she wins, because 1) she is female, and GA is not in any way a father’s rights state, and 2) she is very wealthy and can afford court at her whim.

She cries and lies to the court, and her own children attempting to alienate them from their father.
Her husband follows and verbally attacks my husband at the kids school and sporting events regularly, as does her alcoholic father.

We are not wealthy by any means. My husband works 2 jobs, one for us, one to pay ex-wife 50% of every dime he makes for child support.

I don’t have the time or the space to tell you all the spiteful, vindictive, downright evil things this woman has done to my husband.
BTW – SHE divorced him, filed in 2003, final in 2004.
She married him because he was a lawyer – not for love, she wanted his money and status.
When they were married, she was so verbally abusive that he became clinically depressed and had to take Zoloft. He became addicted to gambling as an outlet for his frustration, and lost several thousand dollars. He was no longer useful to her, so she divorced him.
She moved from the West coast to the East, and he moved here to be with his children. She is a flight attendant, so my husband raised them practically alone since birth.
His moving here enraged her to the point that she is trying everything she can to get him out of the boy’s lives – to the point of forbidding them to visit (we live 3 miles from her), telling them he doesn’t pay child support (he pays her $1,000 a month), and filing child abandonment charges against him (the Prosecutor refused to charge my husband; she knew ex-w was lying) to harassing his employer and getting him fired, getting him behind in child support, and filing Contempt charges and having him put in jail several times (filing in different counties).

I am at my wits end!
My husband, like I said, works 2 jobs – sometimes I don’t see him for several days – just to pay child support. When I do see him, he’s exhausted, cranky, and stressed out because of her putting the kids up to calling and spewing her lies, or he got a nasty letter from her or her lawyer, or he has to prepare for yet another court hearing (FIVE in 2010).

This is why most second marriages fail!
My husband is a wonderful person, and an amazing father. He certainly does not deserve any of the childish, hateful, cruel treatment of this woman he once loved. It wasn’t until after the children were born that he realized that she only loved herself, she isn’t capable of loving anyone else.

Ok a few days ago I posted a question about getting temporary custody of my step-children. I’ll sum it up real quick. My husband still has 30 days in jail due to getting overly stressed about ex wife doing drugs and not being able to prove it to DCBS, police or the judge. He got drunk and pushed me around. At the time I didn’t know that it was his stress taking over ( the doctors told me a week later that they think he was “sleepwalking”) I told him I wasn’t going to take that and turned him in. I told him that he needed to suffer his consequences and work on other ways to handle his stress about her and not get drunk and hurt me, then we could work on his marriage. I immediatly tried to fight for his 2 children because I know their mother is unfit and I have been the only mom figure that they have had, I wanted to take care of them until he worked through his issues and got out of jail. I lost due to the fact that I am the step-mom. The mother won temporary custody and we finally got the judge to agree to random drug screens after 3 years of fighting. Well, last week she showed up positive for cocaine. Giving DCBS the right to charge her with 2 counts of neglect. Her parents can’t get custody of them because she lives in their house and they have been covering this up and letting her do it. My husbands parents can’t get custody of them due to some serious medical issues. My husband can’t get custody for another 30 days. They are not charging him with anything due to the fact that the children did not see this and don’t even know that it happened. I talked with my lawyer today and he said that since I am the only person left that has a very close relationship to the children then I should get temporary custody until my husband gets out of jail. Here’s the problem he wants me to try to find as much info and past cases were a step parent gained custody or something that I can bring to the judge to show that I have the right since I am not a blood relative. He charges me alot less than normal because I always due most of the research myself, but I have been on the internet all day and can’t figure out where to start. So I was hoping that someone here could help get me started. Here’s the info. We live in Kentucky. I have my own house that social services has already been in and approved. I have a full time job where I get all my hours done over the weekend and I am here with the children all week. We had the children every other week before she got temporary custody a month ago, therefore I have a very close relationship with the boys. I also have parent teacher conference notes with my name on them because she wouldn’t show up. I will do every thing in my power to get these boys, but DCBS makes it sound like they just need to go into state custody for 30 days. I don’t want this to happen. Could someone help me find some info that I can use to make sure the boys come home and not to a foster home. They don’t need that, they have already been through so much.

My son worked Sunday and she dropped the kids off with a friend all day and tried to say she was with a friend but was caught in her lie. She’s a stay at home “mom” if you want to call her that, although she doesn’t even wash my sons clothes or goes to the grocery store, my son does it. She’s very abusive to the children and has even threaten to kill them. My son has filed for divorce twice but she ended up talking him into staying both times. He tried to kick her out last summer but that failed also. I’m so worried about this situation because of the children and the violence. I have no doubt the woman has somekind of mental problem because I’ve never in my life met anyone like her and she is so much like Casey Anthony the woman who is being charged with murder that I’m afraid something terrible is going to happen if my son leaves her. The whole thing is a big mess but something needs to be done. My son said the kids are better off with him than their own mother, that tells me things are worse then we know. My grand daughter is careful about what she tells me because her mother has told her I will call child protective services and she will be taken away again. My grand daughter has lived with us 2 twice when CPS was involved but now this has become very stressful for my husband and the kids are hard on his nerves sometimes so I don’t know what to do. I can’t bare the thought of the kids going to foster care. My son could press charges on her for abuse but he won’t. I guess he thinks he’s not a man if he does, so instead he just hits her back, which now she has filed charges on him from laSt year which are still pending. Conservative Personalities and Figure Scandals

1.Paul Crouch Televangelist, Former President of Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). Paid $425,000 in hush money in an attempt to cover up a gay affair.
2.Ted Haggard, popular conservative pastor who advised Bush on Family Values issues was outed by a male prostitute who also alleged that he gave Haggard drugs.
3.Rush Limbaugh, triple-divorcee
4.Bill O’Reilly Right-wing conservative talk show host on Fox News, sued for sexual harassment by his producer.
5.Dr. Laura Schlessinger, right wing conservative radio host. Promotes family values, estranged from her mother, opposes birth control, has had her tubes tied, espouses saving oneself for marriage, admits to having had sex before she was married, opposes adultery, has committed adultery while she was married, and has slept with a married man, opposes divorce, is divorced and remarried, has posed for nude photos which are available online.

There are many, many, many more. I know that I am going to be accused of being repub-coserv-basher. I am not, I know the democrats have just as many scandals if not more. However, I think that the whole PLATFORM OF CONSERVATIVE FAMILY VALUES IS A DISINGENIOUS strategy to rally votes and to swing elections. THIS LIST DEMONSTRATES THE FACT THAT NO ONE PRACTICES WHAT THEY PREACH!!!
I also believe that we are all human and everyone makes mistakes, but it is VERY HYPOCRITICAL to impose ideas that these “cultural-icons” don’t keep!

I’ve been married to my husband for 7 years and we have 2 kids. We are in an interracial marriage. I have 2 kids from my previous marriage. Unknown to me, my husband was abusing drugs before our marriage. Due to his drug abuse he cannot perfom sexually for the last 4 years. Upto to know I have been a very a faithful wife, but I have my desires and needs as well, which go unfulfilled. We have sat down and discussed this issue, but he ignores it. He doesn’t seem to care about my sexual/emotional needs. I am very spritual person who believes in the vows of marriage. Due to health conditions he is unable and refuses to take any enhancement rememdy. So I am left with only 2 options. 1. Either I have an affair 2. Depress my desires and live like this. Could you please advise me on what I should do about this situation and divorce is not an option.

Why is it that republican and religious and secular conservatives continue make family values an election issue. The issue of family values and morality was ONE of the hallmark reasons for the Republican take-over of congress and it was also used as a theme during Bush’s first run for office.

1.Senator Larry Craig, recently pleaded guilty to lued homosexual acts in an Airport. He still defiantly claims that he is not gay.

2.Mark Foley, had phone sex and indecent conversations with male pages.

3.George W. Bush, Republican president, accused in a criminal complaint and lawsuit of raping Margie Schoedinger, who later committed suicide. Accused by Tammy Phillips, a former stripper quoted in the National Enquirer in 2000 saying she had an affair with Bush that had ended in 1999

4.Senator David Vitter (R-La) who ran a hard-core platform on traditional family values, name was found on a Madams list. He told his constituents that it was a “private issue” and to leave him alone.

5.Arnold Schwarzenegger, Republican governor, had sex with a 16 year old when he was 28.

6.Joe Scarborough, former Republican Congressman, currently a conservative talk show host. Resigned his congressional seat abruptly to spend more time with his family, amidst allegations of an affair. His intern, Lori Klausutis, was soon after found dead in his office. The medical examiner, who had his license revoked in Missouri for falsifying information in an autopsy report, and suspended in Florida for six years, ruled the case an accident, after giving conflicting information about her injuries. He said he lied about them because “The last thing we wanted was 40 questions about a head injury.”

7.John E. Peterson, Congressman (R-Pa), accused of sexual harassment and creation of a hostile work environment by six women. Peterson has refused to admit a crime, saying only “I may have been an excessive hugger.”
