If a UK national has a criminal record for a drink driving offence where he/she was banned for driving for a year but not sent to prison does this mean he/she can never get a green card to work in the US as spouse of a wife/husband on a working visa?
How strict are they? Is it people who have done prison time who will not be allowed in? Or does anyone with any kind of criminal record have no chance of being accepted?
I really like this 1 guy who I’ve known for a year now. I know he likes me and we even fooled around. Problem is…he is married, I have a boyfriend of 8 years, and the BF only just started becoming responsible. My BF has put me through hell and the resentment is still there. He hasn’t been able to keep a job for more than 6 months, had a drinking problem, pill problem, and we would always fight, sometimes physical. He once left my son 3 at that time home sleeping to drive down the block for more alcohol and hit a tree and got a DWI. But recently, he has not done the pills, only drinks occasionally on the weekends, and has been working for 4 months and has been helping around the house a lot more. But this new guy is leaving his wife b/c she cheated on him and he is such a nice, responsible guy…treated her like gold….I saw it for myself…was friends with them both. I would like to be treated like that and she was such a bitch to him. Anyway what should I do?
Following a recent episode of late night binge drinking at the Raffles club with my chums, I found myself in quite a good mood this morning. Anyway, I was lolling about the manor early hours, and could just make out with my binoculars, my wife relaxed in the upper-field reading her newspaper. I quickly decided to order my groundsman release Jeremy (my bull), in turn terrify my good lady, into scuttling across the terrain in a complete frenzy. She now sits, teetering on a branch of a tree, protesting at high volume.
Why does she not, see the funny side to anything, and how do I get her back down safley, and back onto terra-firma?
Okay, my wife used to have an ’07 Navigator, and we loaned it out to a neighbor, and it was involved in a head-on collision when my neighbor was driving home intoxicated. The thing is now beyond repair, but, because we have 4 kids, we need an SUV. With SO many SUV’s on the market, it’s hard to decide. Sure, I have an ’05 Navigator, but I need to go to work every day, so it’s missing from the garage most of the day. However, I don’t like Blazers, Hummers, Tahoes, or Pacificas, so please don’t suggest those.
She’s looking for something in the ’07 genre.
I have a small “member”. I won’t go into detail, because I’d just be putting myself down.
WHEN my wife and I of just over 2 years and I make love (about once a month), she often asks if I’m hard…Our sex life is miserable. She uses 10″ vibrators, dolphins, etc when I’m not at home (I make very good money and she doesn’t have to work). When we dated everything seemed fine…however, I realize that my money may have had something to do with our marriage.
We communicate very well, love each other, and I help around the house by cleaning, doing laundry, basic housekeeping chores. It’s not as if I’m not helping her around the house so that she withholds sex.
She’s very beautiful and I don’t want to lose her, plus we have a very beautiful daughter together. She has slept with an ex right in front of me, but blamed it on alcohol and said she’d never do it again. However, I’m tempted to just give her permission to swing if she chooses. She keeps in touch with an ex boyfriend who is single- recently divorced- by FaceBook and cell phone. However, he does live hundreds of miles away, so I know they aren’t hooking up behind my back- at least right now. The person she slept with while I watched was a different ex that we invited to a party and he was too drunk to drive home, so my wife invited him to stay…and they had sex that night…the only good part about it is that my wife then wanted me to make love to her afterwards- to show me she still loved me.
I’m confused. I want to be happy and I want her to be happy, but I don’t want to lose her or my daughter.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. –The man accused of murdering three people Sunday in Prince William County allegedly shouldn’t have been in this country at all!
39-year-old Anastacio Sanchez-Miranda is accused of murdering Juan Manuel Guevara, 28; Rosario Europa, 24; and Gerardo Lopez-Garcia, 25 and a quick search of court records found a DWI arrest and a malicious wounding charge.
For some reason, Sanchez-Miranda was not deported for those offenses.
Relatives say Sanchez-Miranda burst into the home and began shooting. They say he was looking for Rosario Europa’s sister – his ex-wife and the mother of his children.
Europa’s sister had stayed overnight at the house with her three children after a birthday party for a 2-year-old. She was in the house but wasn’t injured.
In addition, a 30-year-old man was in critical condition and an 18-year-old man was in stable condition, police said. Five children, ranging in age from 2 to 7, were in the house at the time of the shooting but were not hurt.
Police arrested Sanchez-Miranda Sunday afternoon in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Prosecutors there were expected to proceed with extradition efforts early next week. http://www.myfoxdc.com/myfox/pages/News/Detail?contentId=5178287&version=1&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=3.2.1
Ok, so a good long time friend of mine is paid child support by his ex-wife. he is a vet, he is a good guy. His ex-wife who sends the small children over looking and smelling dirty voluntarily gave the children to him 5/wk a couple of years back. They are emotionally troubled. The ex wife lied about multiple things, including concealing an pregnancy and not seeking any medical care, and binge drinking during that time. She told her ex-husband in mediation she makes $75/ wk in tips. When run by good friends who have worked in the restaurant industry their entire adult lives, they looked at one another and started laughing. When told where she worked they said even the bus boys don’t walk away with that and that a hostess/server will come away with $70 on a bad night, about $100 on a regular night, maybe $130 on a good night. She also consistently appears to have money for unnecessary items and entertainment and is behind on child support in spite of not paying rent.
Well she is now at BJ’s Brewhouse-she was at CPK for 1 1/2 yrs. It iswrong though, unles you are on the verge of starving to walk away from your financial obligation to your children. I figured peoplewho eat out frequently moght have an idea about tips.
Palin did nothing wrong in my book!
“she was within her right to dismiss her public safety commissioner”
Her husband, Todd, to use state resources as part of the effort to have Trooper Wooten dismissed. Todd says he did this with out his wife’s approval and knowledge.
Trooper Wooten is still a trooper…
What kind of trooper is Mike Wooten?
Union leaders defend him as a dedicated trooper who was already punished for his mistakes. Wooten’s record clearly indicates a serious and concentrated pattern of unacceptable and at times, illegal activity occurring over a lengthy period, which establishes a course of conduct totally at odds with the ethics of our profession,”
• Wooten used a Taser on his stepson.
• He illegally shot a moose.
• He drank and drove in his patrol car.
• He told others his father-in-law would “eat a f’ing lead bullet” if he helped his daughter get an attorney for the divorce.
• He has been married and divorced four times.
What she did is not against the law. Todd did what he thought was right. He thought Wooten was a bad person that should not be a cop. Do you blame him? Wooten got off for DWI, Child Abuse, Assault, DV and poaching because of the good o’l boy trooper buddies! YOUR RIGHT NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW. Union leaders say he was already punished for his mistakes! WTF is that? Any other person would have been thrown in jail!
How did she lie? She was asked if she abused her power in the firing of Walt Monogan! SHE DIDNT!!!
Our friends are having their annual holiday party. My wife and I have know the couple for about 3 years now. One of my best friends (whom my wife dislikes) has been invited to the party, also. My wife thinks I should either ask the couple to uninvite my best friend or that I should ask him not to go to the party. I have told her it is not my place to tell someone who they can and cannot invite to a party. Nor, is it my place to tell my friend what he can and cannot do.
My best friend is someone with whom I play ball with every week or two and we will go out to the bars every now-and-then for a few drinks. On a couple of occassions I have gotten too drunk to drive home and my wife has gotten very upset with me. She blames not only me, but my friend for my getting too drunk. This has happened a couple of time in the past 8 months.
Recently i got in a little trouble with the law, nothing real big. when i have time to gout i party hard, { dwi/ driving on a restricted license} i know i was wrong, 1 mile from home. anyway my wife left and said were done and i don’t want to deal.I also lost my job cause of this. i accept responsibility, and a bad judgment call. Our relationship has always been rocky. she left me when i needed her the most, now she back and i don’t think i want her back.what do i do?
