Hi,
I was recently pulled over by the police whilst driving home from the pub. I had only had one beer just before leaving which I explained. I was breathalyzed and to my amazement my reading was 60+. The arresting officer did say that he could see that I was not drunk and believed his reading was faulty so I was driven to the police station and asked to provide another breath sample. Again, to my amazement it showed me as over, however it had dropped to 44 from 60+ in about 10 minutes.
I was then asked if I wished to provide a urine sample to which I said yes.
I am due to collect the results tomorrow and I am really worried. Will the Urine test show less then the breathalyzer did? I admit that I have been convicted of Drink driving in the past which is why I would never do it again. I’m reading a lot about 3 month prison sentences for repeat offenders and my wife has recently had our first child. I really don’t want to go to prison over one pint of beer.
Does anyone have any advice?
Thank you in advance
(To Bear Grylls) There was no nurse on site to take blood, if your level is between 40 – 50 you are offered the choice of providing a blood or urine sample which I did. No I wasn’t drunk and this is important to me so I’d appreciate it if you didn’t make light of the situation

I’m a little confused. Let me see if I have this

*Growing up in Alaska eating mooseburgers, a quintessential American story.

*If your name is Barack you’re a radical, unpatriotic Muslim.

I don’t like either candidate so no whining about the bias in this question.

AJ, I have not seen this question asked on here, if it has, missed it, as for the question, look at the BIG BOLD letters at the top.
Prof. b, you are on the right track, but the last statement is true, knowing that how would you answer this question? Seems everyone else would like to take this question and turn it around on me, but no one has even come close to the essence of this question. Oh and R.M, I haven’t lived in Selma for 8 years. My trolling days are now far East of there.

I’m 6’3 235 pounds. If me and my wife go out for dinner, me having one beer isn’t not going to get me even close to that .08 limit. Yet, there are some that say that you shouldn’t even drink one and drive. Isn’t the limit being at .08 basically saying you can drink and drive, but don’t drink too much?

A drunk is driving through the city and his car is weaving violently all over the road when he is pulled over by a cop
“Where have you been?” Asks the policeman

“I’ve been to the pub,” slurs the drunk.

“Well,” says the cop, “it looks like you’ve had quite a few.”

“I shurrre did” the drunk says with a smile.

“Did you know,” says the cop, standing straight and folding his arms, “that a few junctions back, your wife fell out of your car?”

“Thank God for that” said the drunk. “For a minute there, I thought I was deaf”

My wife and I were returning from vacation and following another couple. The women were driving as we were drinking heavily the night before. We stopped in a rest area and were attempting to fix my friends busted car seat. we didn’t have the keys but my friend was charged with DWI. Now it gets worse—-we followed them to the station and when he was released and got in a argument with his wife. We watched as 4 police rushed him-maced and tasered him and punched and stomped on him…He was not rearrested or given any opportunity to not be beaten. He wound up in the hospital overnight needing his face sewn up and with broken ribs-concussion and back injury’s…My main question is does he have any rights to the video that can prove this ? The guy is now knocked out of work for the long haul and has no insurance. I would appreciate to hear from anyone that has been involved in a similar incident..
I am clear this is not a forum for legal-aid and apologize for being out of place…we are all still in a bit of shock after seeing this and not thinking right.. we will certainly reach out for an attorney.
Thanks Rock—idiot ? 3 people were there and all saw the same thing.. Hope you are never caught up in something like this..
