A couple days ago, I saw a show that had parodies of the Law & Order characters, with Det. Briscoe constantly commenting on his alcoholism and his ex-wives. Any idea what show this was? It’s killing me!!!!!

I think my wife is bipolar and needs to get professional help. But she denies that she has a problem. I am afraid for the two children that we have. She has been mentally and physically abusive to me and the children. One day, I walked into the house and she had my 3 year old daughters face buried in the sofa and my daughter was trying her hardest to get away. She told me that she was trying to rid my daughter of a demon. She also drinks everyday and sometimes drinks while driving with our children in the car. I need help, but do not know where to turn.

was stopped at a red light and a drink driver hit me from behind. Luckily a police officer was behind the driver that hit me. He was arrested for DWI and cited for driving 45 on a 30. My wife and two kids were with me. I have a bad back and have had a lot more back pain since the accident. I called the insurance from the other car and they told me that my claim was denied because the car was insured, but that the driver wasn’t in the policy. Any suggestions on to what I can do. I’m in Texas.

My car is under my dad’s name and has full coverage, but under my dad’s name. I’m not included in his policy.

Overlook a wrestlers’ faults/imperfections/past. We all have them. Is it really necessary to bring up the faults of particular wrestlers when they don’t have anything at all to do with us? Steroid abuse, alcoholism, cheating on wives and whatever else you can think of doesn’t always (it might at times) take away from a wrestlers’ ability to entertain and please us.. So why bother bringing it up?

Feel free to oppose my statement, just as long as you can back up your answers… I loves me a good ‘debate’ :)

WQ: In YOUR opinion, which 2 wrestlers/on-screen personalities (one from TNA, one from WWE) abuse their ‘backstage powers’ the most?

Please EXPLAIN your answers…

The driver had been drinking, and he merged into me on the interstate going 80mph. Luckily, after spinning at least 5 times, I managed to avoid the steel light pole I was heading straight for. my car is most totaled. The police did not take the guy away, as when they got there, the driver lied and said his wife was driving at the time of the accident. We couldn’t prove it so they let him go. Before the police arrived the man’s wife transferred beer from his truck to another woman’s car.

The reason I want a case is because they had babies in the car. I do not want an irresponsible parent driving drunk with their babies in the car, but even if I take him to court and get them away from him, I will still be out of money to the lawyer. Would it be possible to win the case and get enough money to pay a lawyer and maybe help get another car?
I actually have experienced the whiplash symptoms and soreness. Also my friends are urging me to go to the doctor. I seem to have a depth perception issue.. I keep falling while trying to sit down on chairs and sometimes fall when just walking. I do remember a guitar amplifier hitting me in the head during the wreck, but I don’t think I had any swollen areas on my head or anything, could this be a problem from the accident?

I just don’t have the money to go to the doctor, I was moving back to my hometown since I lost my job and all my belongings were in my car when he hit me. Luckily my computer was not damaged.

Hi. I’m looking for pointers on what to research to get help. Over the holidays my older brother went quite a bit crazy. Really, we almost called 911. He was very drunk, and exhibited depression, aggression, anger. Oddly though, before it got really bad, he kept bringing up mundane subjects repetitively. (He questioned a phone call I made asking him what his kids would like for xmas, at least 6 times, and increasingly angry about it. It was very odd. His wife said he does this often now. She accidentally gave him the wrong directions and he badgered her about it for hours — after she apologized.)

His son has an undiagnosed speech disability. Could my bro be the carrier of Aspergers, or is this simply depression/anxiety or alcoholism?

It’s bad, and I’m worried about his 2 young children. He doesn’t think he has a problem.
Thx.
It’s new behavior. He was always socially immature, inappropriate jokes, overly loud talking, etc. Things he should have matured out of. His youngest child is high-needs, and this has added stress to their marriage. Maybe it is alcoholism. You have to practice to drink as much as he did on Thanksgiving — about 3+ bottles of wine.

I”m a recovering alcoholic and and have no social life anymore. I can’t seem to make any friends at all in AA, and I don’t think I will ever get over my ex-girlfriend unless I start dating someone else.

I’ve tried MATCH.COM and another site, but I always get the same answer, sometimes immediately. Either women:

1. Just don’t want to date anyone that’s a recovering addict/alcoholic.

2. Don’t want to date anyone that doesn’t drink.

I was just hoping someone could tell me why?

I’m 45, single, live alone and a pretty nice guy. Women in recovery generally don’t date men in recovery. I don’t think i’ll ever find a wife.

It’s been a few years now, and I find myself so lonely that I think of suicide alot.

My question is, since I can’t seem to meet anyone by telling the truth, should I just lie about my alcoholism?

My husband is a sober alcoholic now. I married and lived with the active alcoholic in him for 13 years. I’m still married to him now 15 years. Do you think a book about my life dealing with his problem would sell books or do you think there are enough books out there about the disease and nobody would care about how the wife of an alcoholic dealt with it.

Three Drunk Men

These three guys got together one day and were talking about how drunk they got at a party the night before.
The first guy said, ””Man I was so drunk last night I went home and blew chunks.””

The second guy said, ””Man that was nothing I was so drunk last night I was driving home and I got my DWI.””

The third guy says, “Man that was nothing. I was so drunk last night I was driving home and I picked up a prostitute and my wife caught us in bed.””

Then the first guy said, ””No — you guys don”t understand! Chunks is my dog!”

First, I’m not defending to the cigarette…

But I think the alcohol produces more victims than the cigarette. Many people kill when are drunk driving a vehicle, fighting under the effects of the alcohol, or hitting drunk to her wife and children. Also, a lot of people die by cirrhosis.

I don’t know somebody has caused an accident to smoke, or the cigarette motivated somebody to fight and to kill another person, or somebody hit savagely his wife and children to be under the effects of the cigarette…

I think the alcohol is worse than the cigarette. However, every year, more billion dollars are spent in campaigns against the cigarette than against the alcohol…

Why to pander to the alcohol? How many trillion dollars are moved behind the industries of the liquor and the beer?

It’s a double moral.

An university professor said: “The alcohol is necessary in the society because it’s the drug that brutalizes… the governments need to govern brutalized people.”
NOTE: When I use the term “brutalize”, I mean to make to somebody idiot.” Please, excuse me if my translation to English is not the correct one.

I’ve been going to meetings for 3 years but I have still yet to find a single close friend. Lots of people know my name, but I’ve never been invited to a party or asked out for coffee.

My ex husband took me to court two years ago and lied his way into getting custodial and I get summer visits. I never once asked him for child support while the children lived with me. Times have changed and he is now remarried to a woman with three kids who does not work and he has now gone after me for child support. He knows I have been in two serious car accidents and one accident on the job and am waiting to hear on my disabilty benefits due to severe back injuries. Also he is drinking again and sat in jail for two weeks due to a DWI. He works a job that pays ok. Can he really get child support from me when I never wanted the children to live with him in the first place? We are going through mediation and I am taking him to court on my own to get them back. No, I was never proven unfit. I have my teenagers living with me. My question? If I plead hardship how much will I have to pay? I am unemployed, but my husband works. I do not want to support his new wife and her baggage!
KITTY
You are correct in what the Bible says. Unfortunatly I was not saved back then and did not know the Bible as I do now, as I got saved a year and a half ago. I now can only know that I am forgiven and go on from here. By the way I left him for cheating on me which also is against the Bible.
HOLAP
I live in the state of Montana and he lives in Washington state. We are both from Montana and this is also where the children are from. He just decided he wanted to live in Washington. Our divorce took place in 2000, in Montana where the first parenting plan was done and I got residential custody. He didn’t want them until they were school age because he claimed he couldn’t take care of them and work although I handled it well. Also I hear in Washington there is no legal age that the kids can choose who they want to live with. They do want to come home to Montana though. They are twins, almost 11 years old.
WINTERGIRL
In the state of Washinton there are lawyers that help men to get custody instead of being a weekend dad. This is what he did. Yes, he did lie and yes he did get away with it. He used church pastors and anyone he could to help him. Right now he is on the verge of getting caught in all the lies because he lied again. He told the child support division that I lived in Washington for several years and he gave only the parenting plan from Washington to the worker and said it was part of the divorce decree. Was the worker ever suprised when I faxed him the original decree from Montana and told him I have proof of being a Montana resident since May, 1999. Now they are investigating it further. I just wonder what they do in these situations.
My ex also has an outstanding warrent for his arrest in the state of Montana for failure to appear on a harrassment charge from several years ago. The warrent is still in effect because he ignored it. He didn’t get it until after he won residential in court. That is the harrassment charge.
